Wednesday: no bells–no break! Stay in 1st period
*If you are not going to be attending PHs next year: pink forms are available in the front office. Complete & return with parent’s signature. Due May 1st.
*Cap & gowns-will be passed out during 1 period. Any money due for senior supplies must be paid in full by the delivery day in order to receive your cap & gown.
*Juniors who turned in an application for girls or boys state need to see Mrs. Kuzma today
*Beta members-City fest needs volunteers for Saturday’s race. Sign up in ss-4. Hours are due May 7. Money for graduation honor cords is due May 1- $8
*Key Club meets May 2 in the Media Center @ 7:20
*If you have been awarded a merit based scholarship please turn in your award letter to Mrs Ward by May 2 so you can be honored at Honors Night, May 9
*Diamond dolls-don’t forget we have a meeting May 1 after school!
*PHS Blood Drive is Thursday May 2, 8:30am-2:00pm- a picture id is required. 16 year olds may donate only with signed parental permission.
**All library books are due May 2 and fines are due as well. Sr’s will not receive diplomas unless library books are returned. Report cards will be held for all other grades if books are not returned.
*Sr picnic will be held on May 10, starting at 11:30. There will be a BBQ cookout, dj music, water slide and more. Seniors can purchase tickets at lunch or at ROTC office by this Friday, May 3rd.
*French field trip-is May 3- meet at the flagpole at 7:30. School dress code is required.
*Show choir auditions are the week of May 6. See Mr Wilson in pa 1 for an audition packet
*Powder Puff game is May 6th @ 5:00. Teams have been posted in the office window
*Library & coffee shop will be closed 5/6-7. Computers will not be available. Please make alternate plans for research and printing
*Girls basketball tryouts are May 7 & 8 @ 3:30-5pm. You must have an updated physical to tryout. No parents are allowed in tryouts.
*Honors night is May 9 @ 6pm at PHS gym
*PHS memories hashtag t-shirt-on sale now. See any math teacher-$15
*NHS members –pick up luminaria order forms asap. Money is due 5-10 with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Foundation. You must turn in your proof of hours asap to Mrs. Kuzma or Mrs. Murphree. final hours deadline is May 10. Please remember the commitment you made when joining NHA and get your hours turned in. See Kristina Armstrong regarding any questions about your hours.
*Faculty softball game is May 13 @ 5:30pm. Sign up in the front office
*FCS meets in m5 – Mrs Slay’s room
*Pass ID cards are available in the front office during break, before & after school.
*Alabama Lions Club summer leadership-grades 10-12 in June. Applications on the website
*Free tutoring: Tues: Math ROOM 312 & ENGLISH Room 104
