Biography

I am teaching Honors Biology, Biology, and Physical Science this 2012-2013 school year. I also serve on the Sports Medicine staff here at PHS. I am a native of Prattville, graduating from PHS in 1992. I graduated from Troy State University in Troy in 1996 with a B.S. in Athletic Training. I was the Head Athletic Trainer at Alabama State University from 1998-2002. While there I earned a M.Ed. in Biology. I then taught science at Wetumpka High School for 2 years before coming to PHS in 2004. I have completed coursework in Educational Administration and served as Assistant Principal at Prattville Elementary School in 2008 and 2009 before returning to PHS in 2010.

I am very happily married to Cindy Willis Weedon of Prattville and we have twin boys, Garrett and Grant (11), a daughter, Emmaline (8), and a second set of twin boys, Pratt and Tripp (Oct 26th, 2012 they will be 1). I love PHS, hunting, reading and spending time with my family.
