I am Ashley Sánchez. I was born and raised in Chilton County here in Alabama. I fell in love with Spanish language and culture at an early age when I took my first trip abroad at the age of 12 to Honduras. I have since been back to Honduras, as well as Guatemala, Nicaragua, the Mexico-Texas border, Peru, and I studied abroad in Mexico for a semester. My last trip was to Mexico City this summer to be with my husband while he is there waiting on his VISA. We have two beautiful boys Luie (11) and Robby (6). I look forward to this great group of students as we journey through the rich history and culture of the Spanish language!
