Courses Taught: English 9/Creative Writing

About Me                                              

Hello parents and students! I am incredibly excited to be teaching English at Prattville High School this year! This will be my third year teaching and my third year at PHS as a teacher. This year will be the BEST year ever for my students! In my classroom, we will strive to succeed beyond the circumstances of last year. 

A few facts about me are that I am married to the best man I've ever known, my favorite genres to read are science fiction and fantasy, and I have two wonderful pets (a five year old cat named Ramsey and a rambunctious three year old dog named Moose). I graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor's in English, and I have my Master's in English Secondary Education from Auburn University at Montgomery.

I cannot wait to start the year and be in the classroom with my students. It will be a clean haven, as well as a place that my students can feel safe and productive. We will make this a year for learning and growing, with English as our guide in the classroom (or on Schoology).
