My name is Naomi Pryor, and I am teaching Dual Enrollment English through AUM and Creative Writing this year. I am also the Yearbook adviser and Peer Helper teacher. I have been teaching English Language Arts (including, Creative Writing, Drama, Yearbook, AP, Dual Enrollment, and all 9-12 English sections) for 20 years.
I have been married to Christopher Pryor, a recently retired Band Director, for 29 years. We have two sons: Laun, a UAB grad and a Civil Engineer in Hoover, Alabama; Jacob, a Senior majoring in Marine Science at the University of South Alabama, who is also a Student Assistant Conductor in the JAG Marching Band and a Specialist the Alabama Army National Guard 151st Army Band.
I am excited to be a part of the PHS team and community. I am passionate about the importance of connecting students to all types of literature and its different and diverse formats, subjects, and media.
