National Honor Society
In order to communicate more effectively, we now have a PHS: National Honor Society group in Schoology. I am hoping this is the best way to convey information.
National Honor Society, Prattville High School Chapter
Current Members: Scheduled meetings are traditionally at 7:20 A.M. in the Media Center on the third Thursday of each month school is in session. More information will be given after our first Officers' meeting.
Transferring members: The PHS chapter will need a letter of good standing from your previous school before you can be admitted to the PHS Chapter. You may have your previous sponsor/supervising teacher email a letter to Mrs. Forrester. Transfer members in good standing do not have to be inducted.
Membership requirements for new members for NHS include (1) a 3.5 GPA in high school courses; (2) a sophomore, junior, or senior student at PHS; (3) good character marked by respect, self-discipline, and dedication to learning; (4) participation in school, church, or community activities and programs that demonstrate a desire to develop teamwork and leadership skills.
Congratulations to our 2021-2022 NHS Officers:
President: Reese Pezent
Vice-President: Grace Downey
Secretary: Haley Roberts
Historian: Brooklyn Woods
