English Teacher & Head Cheer Coach

I am excited to serve at Prattville High School as a 9th grade English teacher and Head Cheer Coach. I graduated from Huntingdon College and began my career working in Admissions at Huntingdon College and Troy University before moving into secondary education as a Career Coach for Chilton County Schools. I am passionate about helping students grow as learners while building confidence, teamwork, and school spirit through cheerleading.

My husband, Coach Hughes, also teaches and coaches at PHS, and together we have two children, Liza Grace (4) and Jackson (2). In my free time, I enjoy being with family, attending sporting events, and spending time outdoors—especially at the lake or beach. We are thrilled to be part of the Prattville community. Go Lions! 🦁
