This is my ninth year to teach at Prattville High School. After high school I attended one year at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB, I was a member of the color guard/ dance line. After a change of majors, I transferred to Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. There, I pursued a BA in Secondary English Education. I spent three years at CSU, both involving myself in several extra-curricular activities and earning my degree in May 2010. I most recently received my Master's degree from the University of West Alabama in December of 2017.

I was raised an Army brat, moving all over the southeast as a child. Although I moved 10 times over the span of 15 years, I consider Phenix City, Alabama my home town.

I moved to the Montgomery area with my husband and joined the Prattville family in August of 2010.

I have two children: My son, Luke (5) and our sassy little Ellie Kate (1.5).  In my spare time, I enjoy taking my dogs on walks, spending time with my husband, children and family, and reading. I'm an avid football enthusiast and LOVE our Lions! . On Saturday, however, all my love and energy is placed on watching my favorite football team, The University of Alabama, play!

I am very excited about the 2018-2019 school year!
