This is my eighth year to teach at Prattville High School. After high school I attended one year at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB, I was a member of the color guard/ dance line. After a change of majors, I transferred to Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. There, I pursued a BA in Secondary English Education. I spent three years at CSU, both involving myself in several extra-curricular activities and earning my degree in May 2010.

I was raised an Army brat, moving all over the southeast as a child. Although I moved 10 times over the span of 15 years, I consider Phenix City, Alabama my home town.

I moved to the Montgomery area with my husband and joined the Prattville family in August of 2010.

My son, Luke (4), is the simply sweetest little guy ever! This past year we added to the family with little Miss Ellie Kate; she completes our family!  In my spare time, I enjoy taking my dogs on walks, spending time with my husband, children and family, and reading. I'm an avid football enthusiast and LOVE our Lions! . On Saturday, however, all my love and energy is placed on watching my favorite football team, The University of Alabama, play!

I am very excited about the 2017-2018 school year!
