Bio

This is my eighth year at Prattville High School and my sixth year as the chairman of the mathematics department at PHS.  This year, I am teaching PreAP Algebra 2 with Trig and Algebraic Connections.  I love teaching math and feel very passionate about it.  I don't believe it is enough for students to simply learn how to "work problems."  I strive for them to leave my class with a true understanding of the material, and in the process, I hope I can teach them some important things about life.  If ALL that I teach them is Math, then I have certainly failed them.

I strive to provide the students with a rigorous course that is relevant to them so that when they leave my class, they are college or career ready.

I absolutely love my job and the kids at Prattville High School.  Seeing these students grow both academically and socially is absolutely amazing and I would not trade it for anything!  It is pure joy!!!!
