Website:

Lesson plans, homework, assignment due dates, test/quiz dates, and other announcements will be updated on my page of www.gophslions.com on a regular basis. You can also email me from the website or at Jordan.Berry@acboe.net if you have questions or concerns.

INOW:

I strongly suggest that every parent/guardian purchase INOW for the 2015-2016 school year. It is a great way to be informed of your child's progress in this class. I keep grades updated at a minimum of once per week.

Grading Procedures:

A = 90-100, B = 80-89, C = 70-79, D = 60-69, F = 0-59.

Your final nine-weeks grades will be based on:

70% Test/Major Test Grades – This category will include unit tests, mid-unit tests, major projects, and end-of-quarter tests.

30 % Daily/Minor Grades – This category will include quizzes, graded homework assignments, and minor projects.

Retake Policy:

The goal of the retake policy for tests is MASTERY of the course objectives. The retake policy is covered in detail on my website. Click on the link to familiarize yourself with this policy. Students who do not follow the guidelines of the policy will forfeit their right to a retake for the unit.

Participation:

Because this is a college prep class, participation is expected. You will not be given a grade for completion of assignments or participating in class. Any grade recorded in INOW will have been graded for correction and will have covered prerequisite or current standards.

Final Grading:

Final grades will be earned according to the policy of the Autauga County Board of Education. The final is comprehensive.
